美国纽约西奈山医学院招聘博士后
Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available to study the molecular mechanisms of mammalian cardiovascular development and cardiac stem cell biology. We use mouse as a model system and are particularly interested in how transcription factors (e.g. Isl1, T-Box genes) regulate early cardiogenesis, their roles in human congenital heart diseases and in the differentiation of cardiac progenitor/stem cells. For research background, please see Nature 2008, 3;454(7200):104-8; Developmental Cell 2003, 5(6):877-89 and Development 2005, 132(10):2475-87.
The positions offer a unique opportunity for talented scientists to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated and have obtained a Ph.D./M.D. degree with expertise in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and/or Biochemistry. Prior experience in relevant fields will be a strong plus but not completely required. Candidates must be able to work in a highly collaborative manner.
